Lyrics - Sadness Rains

I had to find some way to express my emotion when almost everyday I hear that another child has left us. Whether it is neglect, intentional violence, a preventable accident, disease, illness etc..............a little piece of me is taken away.

I feel shame for what we humans have become in terms of how little value is put on life.........especially the lives of innocent children.

While I wrote this I ran the gambit of emotion. Sadness, sympathy, empathy, helplessness, frustraion, anger, resolve..........when you read the lyrics I want you to think of raw intensity, emotion, passion, and definite anger.

The intro and exit are sung by a child and the melody is the same as 'Rain rain go away'. The rest of the song (verse and chorus) are sung with extreme intensity. Not shouting or screaming...........just intensity.
