This tells the story of a man who dies before he gets the chance to bring up his son the way he was hoping to. How he stays with his son until he realizes he needs to let his son live his life and how he needs to be free to continue his journey into the light of death.
Whispers Of a Deadman
I was taken from this world too soon
Never had the chance to teach to you
All that I know, all that I am
Now I'm nothing but
A whisper of a dead man
Do you hear the whispers of a dead man
Telling you that things will be okay
Looking over your shoulder
As you are getting older
Do you hear my words guiding your way
The whispers of a dead man
I will sing your dreams at night
A little song called this is life
When you wake you'll understand
What it means to be a man
And when you're walking down the halls
Amid the echoing footfalls
Do you hear an extra step or two
And when you're looking in the mirror
Are things becoming clearer
Do you see me looking back at you
A whisper of a dead man
Do you hear the whispers of a dead man
Telling you that things will be okay
Looking over your shoulder
As you are getting older
Do you hear my words guiding your way
The whispers of a dead man
The more I whisper the further I fall
Into the light the beckoning call
I love you so please let me go
I've taught you all you need to know
Can you hear me
Can you see me
Do you know what I'm saying is true
Do you need me
Will you free me
There's a dead man talking to you
There's a dead man begging you
Let me go
